CESVA Insulation Studio is professional building acoustics software from CESVA Instruments s.l. designed to plan, process, and report airborne, impact, and facade sound insulation tests. It streamlines the full workflow: import third-octave/octave spectra and metadata from CESVA sound level meters and sound sources (or from external files), validate setups against the relevant standards, apply background noise and reverberation corrections, and normalize or standardize results. The software calculates single-number ratings and descriptors (Rw, DnT,w, Dn,w, Ln,w, L’n,w, D2m,nT,w) with spectrum adaptation terms (C, Ctr) and can include measurement uncertainty in line with ISO 12999-1. It supports the principal international standards used in building acoustics, including ISO 16283, ISO 717, and legacy ISO 140 methods.
With a clear, project-based interface, CESVA Insulation Studio manages multi-room measurements, receiver/source positions, and averaging across positions, helping consultants and laboratories produce consistent, defensible results.
